Wind Creek Casino Launches $100K Singing Competition in Chicagoland

Wind Creek Casino & Hotel in East Hazel Crest, Illinois, is set to host a high-stakes singing competition this summer, inviting local talent to compete for a grand prize of $100,000. The event, titled “Sing Your Way to $100K,” promises over $165,000 in total cash rewards. Pre-registration is now open, and aspiring vocalists are encouraged to sign up at singyourwaychicago.com to secure their spot.

The competition will begin this month with both in-person and video auditions, culminating in a live finale on August 23, 2025. Open to solo vocalists aged 21 and older, the contest provides a significant platform for emerging talent in the Chicagoland area. Contestants will perform before audiences and a panel of prominent Chicago radio and media personalities, including WGCI’s Leon Rogers and KISS FM’s Paulina Roe.

Competition Structure and Prizes

Participants can pre-register for auditions online, with priority given to those who sign up in advance. Walk-up auditions may be available if space permits. The competition will progress through several rounds: Qualifying, Preliminary, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and the Grand Finale.

Additional prizes include $25,000 for second place, $15,000 for third, $10,000 for fourth, and $7,500 each for fifth and sixth places. A separate fan-favorite contest will also allow contestants to win additional prizes through social media engagement.

“Chicago’s artistic legacy runs deep—from its music and theater to the everyday voices that shape its neighborhoods,” said Roger Kuehn, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Wind Creek Chicago Southland. “Sing Your Way to $100K is our way of honoring that spirit—by giving local talent a stage and a moment to shine.”

Expanding a Successful Format

This competition follows a successful premiere at Magic City Casino in Miami, where Albert Pedroso won the $100,000 grand prize. The event’s expansion to the Midwest is part of Wind Creek Hospitality’s broader initiative to bring high-energy entertainment to its properties nationwide.
