Bhad Bhabie Discusses OnlyFans Success and Personal Challenges

Bhad Bhabie, the rapper who first captured public attention with her viral appearance on Dr. Phil, has become a staunch advocate for OnlyFans, a platform she credits with significantly boosting her financial success. In a recent interview with Interview magazine, Bhabie, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, described OnlyFans as “a good way to make a lot of money really fast.”

The 22-year-old artist revealed the staggering financial gains she has achieved since joining the platform. “When we first started, I made a million dollars in six hours,” Bhabie shared during a Twitch stream with YouTuber DDG in March. “And by the end of the day, it was like four million. Now, overall, the net on it is like $75 million.”

Bhad Bhabie’s Meteoric Rise and Financial Strategy

Bhabie, who charges subscribers $23.99 a month for access to her OnlyFans content, has been open about how she utilizes her earnings. She invests in “properties, cars, and all types of s***,” a reflection of her strategic approach to managing her newfound wealth.

Her journey to fame began in 2016, when a segment on Dr. Phil titled “I Want to Give Up My Car-Stealing, Knife-Wielding, Twerking 13-Year-Old Daughter Who Tried to Frame Me for a Crime” went viral. During the show, Bhabie coined the phrase “Cash me outside, how ‘bout dat,” which quickly became a cultural sensation and launched her music career.

Understanding and Misunderstanding: Bhad Bhabie’s Public Persona

Despite her success, Bhabie has often felt misunderstood. In an October 2023 interview with Basic magazine, she expressed her frustration with public perception. “I never wanted to have to explain myself, but eventually I had to because I chose to stay in the spotlight instead of ending up as a joke or a meme,” she explained. “I was only 13 and I didn’t know people were going to think they knew me or talk about me in a negative way.”

Bhabie emphasized that her public persona is genuine, countering claims that she is “trying to be something” she’s not. “This is just who I am — whether it’s how I speak, dress, or do my makeup. It’s all genuine,” she told the outlet.

Personal Struggles Amidst Professional Success

While Bhabie has enjoyed significant career achievements, she has also faced personal challenges. Eight months after welcoming her daughter, Kali, with Le Vaughn, she received a cancer diagnosis. In November 2024, she addressed her health struggles on Instagram, writing, “I’m sorry my cancer medicine made me lose weight. I’m slowly gaining back. So, stop running [with] the worst narratives 💕.”

The rapper has also been involved in public disputes, including a conflict with Alabama Barker, the daughter of Travis Barker. Alabama accused Bhabie’s partner, Vaughn, of attempting to start a relationship with her during a brief separation from Bhabie. Alabama stated, “It’s clear that he is manipulating her, feeding her a distorted narrative to justify his behavior,” according to E! News in December 2024.

The Road Ahead for Bhad Bhabie

Despite the controversies and personal hurdles, Bhad Bhabie continues to forge her path in the entertainment industry. Her ability to leverage platforms like OnlyFans demonstrates a savvy understanding of the digital economy, while her candidness about personal issues resonates with her audience.

As she navigates the complexities of fame, Bhabie’s story serves as a testament to resilience and the challenges of maintaining authenticity in the public eye. Her journey underscores the evolving nature of celebrity in the digital age, where personal and professional lives are increasingly intertwined.
